Helmbrecht Photography has served North- Central Montana since 1946.

Steve Helmbrecht, a second-generation photographer, is a graduate of the University of Montana, with a B.A. Degree in Journalism. He served as President of the Montana Professional Photographers Association twice and was a member of its board of directors for eight years. He earned the title of photographer of the year from the MPPA in 2003. Steve received his Master of Photography Degree from the Professional Photographers of America in 2007. He is a Certified Professional Photographer and a member of the "Montana photographic Society." He served as a National Councilman from Montana to the governing body of P.P. of A for many years. Steve served his community as a State Representative and has been an adjunct professor in The Art Department of Montana State University Northern for the past ten years where he teaches ceramics.
